Fire Safety & Fire Awareness
Fire is a significant danger to both domestic & business premises. This course covers how fire spreads, use of fire extinquishers, how to stop fires occuring, minimising damage, fire evacuation plans & fire safety law. The course will be led by a member of the Scottish Fire Service.
Level 2 Award in Health & Safety in the Workplace
Every work place is subject to Health & Safety regulation. This course covers Health & Safety law, general workplace safety, workplace welfare, equipment in the workplace, manual handling, noise in the workplace, working at height, confined spaces, use of vehicles & COSHH.
Level 2 Award in Safe Moving & Handling
As part of our daily lifes many of us are required to lift & move a variety of things. This course covers more than just moving boxes. We will cover legislation related to manual handling, potential injuries, use of appropriate equipment & current best practice for safe moving & handling.
